Lynndyl
We went to see my sisters new house in Lynndyl this weekend. They've had it for almost a year and we had not made it out to see it. Lynndyl is a SMALLLLLLLL town about an hour and fifteen minutes from Lehi. The kids had a lot of fun. The first day, Sam was not feeling well at all. he slept almost all day. Then later in the night after Paul and Jason drove into Delta and got him some medicine he started to feel better. But the next day they got to walk to the park, which has a train you can climb into and play around in. Betty's favorite thing was their Princess Jeep. She was in that thing alllll day. Just driving it in circles.

The Car Ride Down

Fun With The Princess Jeep.

Aidan Calling Maddy On Her Hand Phone.
Haha
Maddy Talking To Aidan on her Hand Phone
Right Before Crashing The Jeep
Into Her Dads Truck
So That is why you shouldn't talk on your phone
when you are driving.

And of course, more fun in the Princess Jeep.
haha
haha

It was so nice out side. It was 75degrees! We all got a little sunburned. We had a lot a lot of fun. I can't wait to escape down there again. Its like a whole new world.
One tiny little gas station, you drive 15mph to get anywhere.
(The only place to go is the park haha)
And their Post Office is the size of a shed!
What a great way to start out Spring.
Although now both the boys are sick with some sort of stomach thing. Paul and I are EXHAUSTED. Vacations aren't as fun when you are an adult haha. They wear me out!
But I love it!

Happy St. Patricks Day!
Today is one of our most Favorite Holidays. We usually celebrate by having a huge feast and everyone wearing green. This morning a leprechaun snuck in the house and turned our milk green!
I think it was a pretty great day.
Just kickin' back and spending time with the kids.
Doesn't get any better than that.

I know I really need to post some stuff. But I just haven't been much of a computer hog like I usually am. Last night we went out to eat at Applebees, to celebrate my first week of officially not working! It was a lot of fun. The kids were really well behaved and ate a lot of their food. After dinner we came back home and watched Wizard Of Oz. The boys weren't really sure at first, but after I told them what it was about, they were excited to watch it. And they did sit through the whole thing, glued to the TV. It was so much fun. Wednesday night has official been declared "Movie Night". Last week we watched the Spiderwick Chronicles. The boys LOVED it.
Next week is Aidan's turn to pick the movie. This should be interesting haha.
Betty woke up last night just crying, and started puking every where. She does not dry heave like most people I know right before they throw up, she coughs. So every time she coughed I would jump up and grab the little bucket by our bed and the towel. Needless to say, I was up all night. But she is doing just fine today. She has no fever, no cough, and no hint that her stomach is hurting her.
Paul is going out with his friend Derek tonight, so I will post more later. I have some really cute pictures to post of all the kids at my sisters house.

6 years today.

6 years ago today. My dad came knocking on Paul and mines sleep room door (a room at the where parents can go and sleep when their child is in the hospital) He said my mom had been brought in. By time I got to the ER they had already told everyone that there was not much else they could do. So we decided to have them stop working on her, and let her go. Worse day of my life. I know she is in a better place and she is not hurting any more and all that crap. But she is not here with me, she is not here to give me advice on my kids, to hold my kids. There are still times when I go to reach for the phone to call her because the kids did something funny or whatever. I still can remember my brothers talk at her funeral and it puts a knot in my throat still to this day. He said "My mom was not just my mom, she was my best friend" and that is the truth. She was always there for us kids. She loved us all as individuals. She never judged us, never put us down. She never judged anyone. She would give you the shirt off your back, even if you had stolen it from her once before. She had a great sense of humor, and a great smile. She was beautiful.

Busy Body.
I need to blog. I have over 600 pictures to sift through from our night at my sisters. But I have been plagued by all this stuff I have been putting off because of work.. And now that I don't work.. Well I have no excuse (good enough) for putting it off any longer.
And holy crap I just looked out my window and its snowing. But I wont let it get me down, being a stay at home mom, I really have no where to go. (nor a car to go there)
Sorry for that random outburst.
We have this space in our house. I don't even know what to call it. We just call it the "Big Room" its right between the kids playroom and our room. It is probably supposed to be like a sitting area or something. We use it for our medical supplies: 60cc and 10cc syringes, split sponges, extra mic-keys, tape, adhesive remover, extensions, adapters, bags, and food. (I do realize a lot of you probably do not know what the heck all those are, but most of you do haha) And Paul, Samuel and Aidan all get a box each their own of all those things. SO you can imagine the mountain of boxes we have. It's gotten a bit out of control so I took it upon myself to attack the mountain today, and I took what use to be our playroom down stairs and turned it into another storage area. I brought down all the things we don't use daily and put them in there. Then I reorganized New to Old all the food. And lets just say our big room is now an actually useable area. Which we are going to use for a school room. For Sam to do his homework and this fall Paul and I will use it for our homework room as well.
I think we seriously need to pay those oragnizer people to come in and kick us in the butts. Because I have no idea what I am doing. and We are being over run. haha.
I have been biten by the Ikea bug. and now am planning a whole new room for our kids. I have already picked out all the decor. We moved Betty into the boys room, because she had been falling asleep on their floor for a whole month. We just decided that she could just room in there and we would move all the toys into her room and make it our new playroom. So we needed a new, gender neutral decor. (Although Betty loves cars, and is tomboyish, but if I just let that be than I wouldn't get to spend any money. what fun would that be?) So I spent some time on my "Lunch Break" and looked at some of Ikea's bedding sets and matching room decor.
This is what I came up with:
The curtains
Unless I find some different material at Ikea, Then I just might have to have someone teach me to sew curtains.

And Ikea is such a great place. I priced it all out, and its only going to be like $123 for all that (we are not buying them new beds, just the bedding) and some other stuff that I want. Now convincing Paul that we need to some how paint the kid's futon bunk bed white... that might be tricky!
I am excited!
Wow the snow is really coming down....
Well I will have to post later about our funtabulous time at Aunt Sami's house.
