Christmas With The Schows

Christmas Eve, we took the kids out to Thanksgiving Point and drove through their holiday lights. The kids loved it, we turned on some Christmas music, pulled them all into the front of the truck and they oohhed and ahhed and just had a great time. After that we came home and every year we let them open up a present from mom and dad, which is pj's, a blanket and a new Christmas ornament. After they changed into their jammies, we went downstairs to take our traditional kids in front of the Christmas tree picture, and let them hang up their new ornaments. We made Santa some fudge, and then it was time for bed.

We have the kids sleep in our room with us, just so no one gets sneaky and gets to the presents without mom and dad. We watched a few Christmas movies and then everyone finally fell asleep. The kids were up bright and early, and we headed down to see what Santa had brought for us all. The kids were just tickled pink with their bounty, and the rest of the day was spent playing with toys, eating candy, and laying around.

After seeing all of what Santa brought, it was time to open Poppy's presents.

the kids love their new jammies.
Thanks Poppy!

And Betty loved her Cinderella outfit from her cousins.

This was such a great Christmas,
The kids had a lot of fun, I feel really blessed,
and I can really feel the closeness of our little family/
