HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTY JEANNE!!

Our Buhbaguhba is no longer a baby, shes no longer a toddler, she is now officially a Pre-Schooler! I can't even believe how fast the time has gone. Today I sit back and remember the day of her birth. She is turning out to be such a smart little girl. She can talk your ear off (Especially if you give her a Red Squeeze it), She loves dancing, and singing along to her favorite songs (Mostly anything by Fergie and of course Barbie Girl). She loves playing with her brothers. and every morning she has to come in our room to tell Jackson good morning and give him a big hug. She loves Strawberry Shortcake, Barbie, My Little Ponies and Polly Pockets. She loves the Disney Princesses. Coloring is her passion and she can do it for hours on end. She is even learning to color in the lines! She loves anything Ladybug and Pink of course.

I woke her up after I got Samuel all ready for school. I wanted Samuel to be here when she opened her presents. So we sang her happy birthday, and she opened all her gifts. It was a great family morning. =]
She got a Strawberry Shortcake Car with Strawberry Shortcake, and a Plum Berry Doll. A big box of crayons and a HUGE coloring book. Two books: "The Ladybug Girl" and "The Ladybug Girl and Bumble Bee Boy" A new tutu, and a birthday girl shirt.

Good for a laugh!

So ever since April 1st the kids have been obsessed with saying something and then yelling "April Fools!". Well while we were at the new house, the kids were getting bored because there is nothing there, and they grew tired of the toys we had brought. We were painting what is going to be Betty's room, and they kept running in and saying things like "Your cat ran away.... April Fools!" and then running back out... Betty came running in for her turn to do it, and she goes "Your Dogs Dead.......A** Hole" Then her eyes just went huge and you could tell that she was thinking "Uh that wasn't right" I fell to my knees laughing hysterically, I still have the hardest time telling the story with out busting out in laughter... Guess we better start being a lot more careful of what comes out of our mouths around her.

Smarty Pants.. or maybe just a Smart A** haha

Today we went to Walmart, as we were leaving I told Betty she needed to either hold a hand or hold on to the cart. I noticed she wasn't holding on to the cart so I looked down to tell her again and noticed that her little hands were clasped together.... WHAT A STINKER!

and what do you think her daddy said "Well you told her to hold a hand, you didn't say who's hand"

Go Fly A Kite!

So I have been promising the kids we would go fly the kites that Aunt Fluffy got them for their birthday, and today was finally nice and sunny. We convinced daddy to come with us instead of installing speakers in my car. We loaded up Jackjack in his carseat, wearing his cute little sunshine outfit Mommybean got him and his little blue jacket that his Poppy got him, and headed to the field across the street.

The second picture of Aidan just cracks me up. He really is a character.

After they got tired of the kites, we decided to have a rolling down the hill race. It was so much fun even the dog decided to join in.

It was such a great little break.
I love you warm weather, please please stick around.

Moving on up!

Well recently Samantha told us she wanted to move out when the contract that we signed was up. At first this caused some panic, but then we found the house of our dreams. Literally we sat down after she told us this, and wrote out a list of what we wanted, and this has it and so much more! I am just ecstatic about it!

Its a four bedroom, two bath with a huge front room and dining room. Its on two acres, with two huge horse corrals, a barn and even a little silo.. Now its not perfect and is going to need some TLC but we are more than up for the challenge!

We spent this past weekend there getting it painted. We actually had a lot of fun. Until the third day, then we were all over it, us and the kids haha.  On Saturday it was our anniversary, and Sabreanna took the kids for a few hours while we finished up painting the backrooms. We painted and talked about how far we have come as a couple, our ups and downs, our hopes for the future, and then we ended the night with a few promises, and some juicy smooches haha. It was a great "Shi and Paul" kindof anniversary.

Easter

All the kids lined up too see what the Easter Bunny brought them...

Okay so I didn't get a whole lot of pictures of what they got.. lol
But its hard to hold a camera and open toys and what not at the same time.
And cranky pants aka Daddy, was not being very helpful!

We had to wait a little while for the snow to melt, so we could go out and find the Easter eggs..
But the kids had a blast, even in the freezing cold!

After finding all the eggs, everyone came in and played with their Easter Goodies.
Then our other cousins came, and we had a whole new Easter egg hunt!
