Happy Fathers Day!

I just have to say that my kids have got to be the luckiest kids on earth.
Because their daddy is the greatest of all the daddies in the whole universe.
He is very much loved and needed in our lives.

Classic Skating

My niece Cami had her birthday at Classic Skating. An old haunt of mine I am sad to say haha. Whenever I go there its like being catapulted back to when I was 14-16 years old. Crazy times.

Aww no tickets for Aidan...

Just kidding Paul had them in his pocket lol

Wipe Out

This is my favorite picture of the whole night haha
Aidan running away from the lady he thought was me

Maybe it was a good thing

That not all our plans worked out today.. Our plans were taking Samuel up to get his cast off, go take pictures of my niece Hailey and then head down to T-ball. This morning I woke feeling the need to stay in bed, but we had to get Samuel up to primary childrens to get his cast off. So I kicked myself out of bed and everyone else. I was not looking forward to the 2 hour drive. Samuel was freaking out about the saw that had to cut off his cast, and not knowing how Samuel thinks, the nurses comments were not very helpful. Like her reassuring "I have never hurt anyone" which just told Samuel that there was a possibility that he could get hurt. Aidan was loving watching someone else get a cast off, Betty was scared of the nurse and the saw and Jackson was squealing the whole time (He loves anything loud and exciting)  Then after removing the cast Samuel said "Ah I can finally scratch now" to which the nurse replied "Oh don't scratch your scratch your skin off". Paul and I can just see that he is getting upset, then he goes to straighten his arm out and the nurse decides this is the perfect time to tell  him "Its going to hurt to straighten it out for the first little bit" and Samuel just looses it. He starts bawling and I go over to console him, and he refuses to move his arm, or even let us touch it. He says he doesnt want to play T-ball today and that he just wants to go home, Aidan starts crying and says he doesn't want to play if Samuel isn't. So we knew T-ball was out of the question. So we decide we will go do the pictures of Hailey and see how the kids are feeling after that... We go and let the kids look out over the city, and it is just one nasty cloudy sky. Paul says "Will you be doing pictures today?" Then we get out to the car and Beth text me that the weather was not looking good. So no pictures. We had to stop at costco and then my brothers to drop something off. We thought we would see how they felt after that and see how much time we had killed.. By time we go to my brothers, we were all a bunch of grumps. We visited with Cathi and the kids for a few minutes, and then we decided it would be best if we just headed home. The weather grew nastier and nastier as did my migraine. When we got home, the coaches called and said that the game had been canceled anyways. So I guess it was all for the best anyways. Now I plan on spending the rest of the night cuddled up on the couch watching Grey's Anatomy.

Lazy Days

Today was spent doing a lot of this

Curious Little Guy

Jackson trying to figure out what the heck that is on daddies tummy

I cannot stop laughing at this one, I am having a hard time even writing this.

What a cute little guy..

When Samuel was 6 or 7 months old, Paul had to wear shirts around him,
because Samuel would literally get mad, and try to rip Paul's button out, thinking it was his.

Monday Night Movie Night and Oh So Much More

We usually have Monday night movie night for our family night. But today we added a little to the mix.
We went to the library, which the kids LOVED! and PS our library as really weird hours... 2pm-8pm......yeah..haha
The boys sitting on a bench with Einstein reading a book haha

After the library we decided to go to the park that is near our house.
The kids had a blast.
and so did the parents haha
Betty, the only one of our kids brave enough to go down the slide haha
Betty having a melt down because Aidan was on the tire swing.
Mommy and Jackson just 'laxin on the swings.
Look at his feet.. what a crack up.

After we left the park, we came home for movie night.
We planned on watching Never Ending Story
Buuuut Netflix took it off their instant play list
DANG THEM!
So we ended up watching Jumanji instead
The boys loved it. Betty.. well she was "Scary" of everything in the movie.
So she ended up leaving in the middle of it to watch cartoons in her brothers room
But every movie night, she is either two "Scary" to watch it
or she passes out

I think today gets an A+ in the family togetherness category <3
